It looks like Microsoft will be making apps work for Windows Phone handsets such as the Nokia Lumia 920 or the HTC 8X and desktop computers.
WPPowerUser spotted a job posting by Microsoft, looking for a software engineer who can make it easier for developers to create apps for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8. This suggests the Redmond firm is working on making their apps work across platforms, desktop and mobile.
The job posting has now been taken down by Microsoft. Fortunately, the posting has been cached by Google.
